How do I request a visit?
On a school page in Connect, you will see the "Book a Visit" tab. Click on this to see visibility of the school’s suggested visit calendar (including days and timings) and you will be able to directly request an available date and time for your visit. The school will then be notified and can confirm directly with you. If a school has yet to complete its availability for visits in the calendar, then you can still use the calendar view to suggest a date and time.
What happens after I request a visit?
If the school is unable to meet at the requested time, the counsellor has the option to propose an alternative time. You will receive the request for a different time and you'll be able to make a new visit request, based on the proposed alternative time/date.
The status of visit requests will be displayed as pending, accepted, declined and the person who requested the visit will get notified. You will see the information that the school has shared about the visit as well as their contact details if they've chosen to share them. You will be notified by email and on the BridgeU platform once your request has been actioned.
